Serving You from 1900 to Present

OUR HISTORY
The Brunswick News Publishing Company distinquishes itself as one of the oldest family owned newspapers in the state of Georgia and around the country. The Brunswick News was founded in 1902 by two brothers, C.H. and L.J. Leavy. The two brothers’ newspaper ties in Brunswick date back before the turn of the century.
Today, two brothers, Vance and Buff Leavy carry on the torch of distributing a quality family-oriented newspaper to Georgia’s Southeast Coast. From 1900 to Present, one and only one newspaper organization in the Golden Isles has stood fast to deliver the news to its community. Through good times and bad times, the News has covered the scene from coastal hurricanes to the 1969 moon walk.

We publish Monday through Saturday, except for Christmas Day, Thankgiving Day and Independence Day. We are located at 3011 Altama Avenue in Brunswick, GA.
