Larry W. Jenkins, 55, of Clarkston, Mich., died Wednesday at the Brunswick hospital of the Southeast Georgia Health System. He was retired from the U.S. Navy, having served his last duty station at Naval Submarine Base King's Bay. He was a Baptist.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Coats Funeral Home in Waterford, Mich. Interment will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Mich.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Sandra N. Jenkins of Clarkston, Mich.; two daughters, Valerie Cyr of Jacksonville and Sandy Pete of St. Marys; four sisters, LaVerne Jewell of Madison Heights, Mich., Paulette Hughes of Brunswick, and Carol Duffie and Debbie Latham, both of Watervillette, Mich.; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
