* Animal Refuge Foundation and Safe Hollow Animal Sanctuary Inc.: First Annual C.A.R.E. Expo to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Nesmith Showroom, across from Walgreens on Highway 341, Jesup. * Jekyll Island Authority and The Pier Road Shops: Evening Under the Oaks to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Jekyll Island Historic Landmark District on Pier Road. The event will include refreshments, demonstrations and a free concert by Eddie Pickett. The United Way of Coastal Georgia will have raffle tickets for $5.

Sunday

* St. Simons Island Lighthouse, 610 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island: Victor Wainwright & the WildRoots will perform at 7 p.m. as part of the Coastal Georgia Historical Society's "A Little Light Music" concert series. Tickets: $12 for adults; children under 12 and Keepers of the Light are admitted free of charge. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Museum Store from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Saturday or 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring picnics, lawn chairs or blankets.
