Saturday, May 17 * Electronics Recycling Collection Event, sponsored by Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot behind Steve and Barry's at the Glynn Place Mall, 100 Mall Blvd., Brunswick. All types of electronics, except televisions, will be accepted. Details: 279-1490 * Edible Plant Walk and Tapas Brunch, will begin at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center at Crooked River State Park, St. Marys. Join park naturalists, Emily and Rachel, on a guided nature walk to learn about local Georgia plants, which are edible or have medicinal uses. Afterwards, a prepared meal will be shared, featuring only Georgia wild-picked plants. The Nature Center will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. At 3 p.m., meet at the Bird Bind in the park to view some of Georgia's native and migratory birds. Possible sightings include painted buntings, great-crested flycatchers, summer tanagers and more. Binoculars and field guides will be available.
