Two facing sex charges in Camden
Police in Kingsland have arrested two Camden County men on separate alleged sex offenses.

Kingsland police arrested 43-year-old Holden Nguyen of Kingsland Tuesday for allegedly picking up a 12-year-old girl who was walking along a road on Sept. 4, taking her to his home and sexually assaulting her.

Nguyen had previously been arrested by Camden County sheriff deputies for the alleged crime on felony charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes, false imprisonment and child molestation.

Deputies traveled to Kauai, Hawaii, where Nguyen was on a business trip, and brought him back to Camden County. Nguyen made bond on those charges, and Kingsland police arrested him Tuesday on an additional charge of rape relating to the Sept. 4 incident.

In an unrelated case, Douglas Ray Castleberry, 34, of St. Marys was arrested Wednesday in Gainesville, Fla., following a joint investigation by Kingsland and St. Marys police, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Florida authorities.

Castleberry is accused of attempting to arrange to have sex with an 11-year-old girl.

Police said Castleberry had allegedly believed he was speaking with a parent of the child via an Internet chat room to arrange the exchange. But he had actually been communicating with an undercover police officer.

When Castleberry was arrested in Florida, police said they found 357 photographs depicting child pornography.

Castleberry is charged with felonies in Florida for possession of child pornography and use of a two-way device to facilitate a felony.

He is jailed at the Alachua County Jail in Gainesville.
