Among reports filed with police:

Assaults

* 500 block of Ocean Blvd., St. Simons Island: A man reported a male suspect struck him in the face Sunday. He said the suspect picked him up at his place of employment and took him to a bar. They stayed at the bar until closing and then went to a convenience store. The suspect told the complainant he owed him $350 for the ride. The complainant refused to pay the money, and the suspect struck his face. No arrests were made.

Problem with persons

* 100 block of Belle Point Parkway, Glynn County: A complainant reported hearing two people arguing loudly in the area Sunday. The responding officers located a male suspect, and when they told the male to stop, he would not obey their instructions. He took a fighting stance, and the officers deployed a Taser. The suspect was charged with obstructing police officers.

Thefts

* Belk at 200 Mall Blvd., Glynn County: A man reported someone stole multiple clothing items Saturday. He said the male suspect selected the merchandise off the shelves and went into the dressing room. When he came out, he had the clothes hidden under his own clothes. He was charged with shoplifting.

* 100 block of Gaye Street, Glynn County: A man reported someone stole property from his porch Saturday. He said the suspect stole a skill saw, a miter saw, an electric drill, two cordless drills, a sander and an animal trap. They were valued at $450.
