Among reports filed with police: Burglaries

* 100 block of Boykin Ridge Drive, Glynn County: A woman reported someone stole a motorcycle from her garage Thursday. She said the suspect did not force entry because the door was not secure. The motorcycle was valued at $1,000.

* 100 block of Hillary Trace, Glynn County: A woman reported someone stole property from her shed Thursday. She said a garden tiller and a generator were missing. She said she thought she knew who had stolen the property but she refused to provide any information on the suspect.

Thefts

* 200 block of Arnold Road, St. Simons Island: A man reported someone stole $200 in cash from his hotel room Thursday. He said he and his wife were out at the pool when the theft occurred. There was no sign of forced entry. The security guard at the hotel named a female suspect. The money was in his pants' pocket.

* Belk at 200 Mall Blvd., Glynn County: A man told police a female suspect shoplifted from the store Thursday. He witnessed the suspect conceal clothing merchandise in her purse and attempt to leave the store. She was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

* 100 block of Cherity Circle, Glynn County: A woman reported someone stole her purse from her vehicle Wednesday. She said she was at a friend's house when the theft occurred. The vehicle was not locked. The purse contained her wallet, identification card and the keys to her vehicle. The purse and wallet were valued at $600.

* Sears at 300 Mall Blvd., Glynn County: A man reported someone shoplifted from the store Wednesday. He said the female concealed clothing items in her purse and down her pants. When she exited the store she was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The value of the recovered merchandise was $811.
