Among reports filed with police:

Burglaries

* 1000 block of Village Oaks Lane, St Simons Island: A man reported someone entered his trailer and stole a saw Friday. He said the unknown suspect entered his trailer at a construction site by cutting a latch on the door. The saw was valued at $800.

* 100 block of Rice Mill, St. Simons Island: A man reported someone entered his vehicle and stole property Friday. He said the vehicle had been unlocked at the time of the theft. The suspect stole two firearms valued at $950 from the vehicle. No suspects were named.

Thefts

* J.C. Penney at 100 Mall Blvd., Glynn County: A woman reported a male suspect entered the store and stole a pair of shoes Thursday. She said she observed a group of juveniles in the store who were not under adult supervision. She told them to leave, and they complied. One of the suspects returned to recover a lost hair pick. The woman helped him look for it, but when she turned her back to him, he took a pair of shoes and fled the scene. She attempted to stop him but was unsuccessful. One of the juveniles who was waiting for his mother to pick him up told the officer the name of the suspect. No arrests were made. The shoes were valued at $35.
