Among reports filed with police:

Controlled substances

* 3000 block of Altama Avenue, Brunswick: Two officers were searching a business for unauthorized occupants Thursday. They located a male suspect who was inside the building sleeping on a dirty mattress surrounded by beer bottles. One of the officers noticed two bags of cocaine near the suspect. He was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and possession of cocaine.

Thefts

* 400 block of Albany Street, Brunswick: A man reported someone stole a TV monitor from his vehicle Thursday. He said his mother woke him up to tell him someone was inside his vehicle. He chased the suspect down the street, and the suspect jumped over a fence, entered a vehicle and drove away. Entry to the complainant's vehicle was made by breaking a window. The monitor was valued at $700.

* 4900 block of New Jesup Highway, Glynn County: A man reported someone entered his vehicle and stole CDs and $240 in cash Thursday. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle. The CDs were valued at $305.

Problem with persons

* 2200 block of Wolfe Street, Brunswick: Two women told police a male suspect struck them in their faces Tuesday. One of the women said she was at a friend's house when she heard a group of people yelling outside. When she walked outside, the suspect struck her. Neither women knew the suspect's name.

* 3700 block of Hopkins Homes Annex, Brunswick: A woman told police a female suspect broke her vehicle's window Tuesday. She said the suspect was mad at her because they are both pregnant with children from the same man. No arrests were made.
