Among reports filed with police:

Thefts

* 200 block of Cardinal Street, Glynn County: A man reported someone stole property from his house Wednesday. He said two staple guns, a nail gun, a battery charger and an air compressor were missing. They had been located outside under a covered area. They were valued at $1,360. No suspects were named.

Problem with persons

* 100 block of Live Oak Circle, Glynn County: A woman reported a female suspect pushed her and struck her in the face Wednesday. A juvenile was also present during the incident. The suspect was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, cruelty to a child and battery.

* 100 block of Sarah Drive, Glynn County: A woman told police a male suspect threatened to fight her husband Wednesday. She said she was taking her trash to the road that day when her neighbor yelled something at her. She began to walk away, and the suspect threatened to assault her husband. She told the officer in the past the suspect pointed a gun at her juvenile daughter when she had to retrieve their dog from his yard. The officer spoke to the suspect who said he was not talking to the complainant but was ranting to himself. Due to lack of probable cause, no charges were pursued. The officer told the woman how she could get a good behavior warrant through the Magistrate Court.

Burglaries

* 800 block of Mallery Street, St. Simons Island: A woman reported someone entered her house Wednesday. Entry was gained by breaking a window. She did not notice any items that were missing. The damage to the window was estimated to be $70. She named a male suspect who had caused problems in the past. The responding officer located a cell phone inside the house, and the complainant told the officer the phone did not belong to her. He also found a cigarette lying on the floor.
