May Fair Tour Of Homes

Fri, May 9, 2008

By LINDSEY ADKISON

The Brunswick News

There are currently many beautiful, historic homes for sale in downtown Brunswick. And on Saturday, you'll be able to view these exquisite homes at once.

The Golden Isles Association of Realtors and the Brunswick Landmarks Foundation are partnering for a Showcase of Homes in Brunswick's Historic District. All of the homes on the tour are for sale.

Tour organizer Amy Meaders Broderick, Realtor with Golden Isles Realty Co., says the event coincides with the annual May Fair.

"The tour will focus on homes in the downtown area with emphasis on historic Old Town and Windsor Park. The Brunswick Landmarks Foundation will feature several homes of historic significance, while the real estate agents will open their listings to the public. There will be an information booth set up downtown on the southeast corner of the Gloucester and Newcastle intersection," Broderick said.

"Downtown Brunswick streets will be closed for the May Fair, which will feature art, crafts, food, activities and live music. There will be something for everyone," she said.

The homes will be open from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
