I-95 multiple vehicle accident
By Michael Hall
A traffic accident on I-95 involving at least six vehicles and two fatalities has closed the northbound lanes just after the exit ramp at exit 29.
Police said the closure could last several more hours as they clean up the accident. Backed-up traffic was detoured off the interstate at exit 29 and back on the entrance ramp at the same interchange to get around the accident.
Farther south, traffic in Camden County is being detoured off the interstate at Exit 26 and is being rerouted to the northbound entrance ramp at exit 29. Expect delays in the area around Dover Bluff Road and U.S. 17 near its intersection with U.S. 82 and Ga. 303.
This accident is a separate incident from the tractor-trailer that burned near exit 36 earlier today.
