* Hattie's Books, 1531 Newcastle St., Brunswick, will host a book signing with Dr. William Littleton, author of "A Ballad of Sixty-Six Days: Charles Wesley at Frederica," from 5 to 8 p.m. during First Friday.

* Literary Guild of St. Simons Island will present the film "Summer in Genoa" at 7 p.m. in the Casino Theatre, 530 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island. There is a $3 fee to offset costs. Details: 289-7357.

* Glynn Art Association, 529 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island, will host "Voices of the Civil War," featuring author Pamela Bauer Mueller and storyteller Harry Paisley from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Details: 638-8770.

* Jekyll Island Authority and the Jekyll Island Museum will host the "Folklore, Rumors and Myth Tours" at 7 p.m. every Friday in October beginning at the museum, 100 Stable Road, Jekyll Island. Tickets are $16 for adults, $7 for children ages 7 to 15 and free for ages 6 and younger. The tours are recommended for ages 10 and older, and reservations are requested. Details: 635-4036.

* Glynn Art Association, 529 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island, will host an Antiques Roadshow from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Antiques will be appraised for $15 per item with a maximum of four items. The association will also host an art market in the parking lot from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Details: 638-8770.

* Literary Guild of St. Simons Island will host authors Nancy Raines Day and Phyllis Limbacher Tildes during its "Coffee with the Author" series at 10:30 a.m. in room 108 of the Casino, 530 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island. * Golden Isles Arts & Humanities will host an opening reception for the group exhibit "City of Dreams" from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle St., Brunswick. The exhibit will feature artists Lanny Brewster, Jennifer George, Anne Goodstein, David Millman, Rob Nixon, John Sabbe and Lance Sabbe.
